Full Description
Two extractive pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the west of Broom's Plantation <1>. They appear to have been levelled and are no longer visible on recent Google Earth imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
