Full Description
A disused Pit is marked at this location on the OS 1:10,000 map. The feature is considered to be a post medieval chalk pit and is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946. It is still extant on recent Google Earth imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
