Full Description
An 'Old Chalk Pit' is marked at this location on the OS 1st Edition map. The feature is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 (1) and is still partially extant on recent Google Earth imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
