A short stretch of Second World War military zig-zag slit trenching is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945-6 to west of Church Lane, Coombe Keynes. (1-2). The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. The features have been levelled and no trace is visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery.
