Parallel bank and ditched linears are visible on aerial photographs to the north-west of Newburgh Dairy, Winfrith Newburgh. They are considered likely to be the remains of medieval strip field/ridge and furrow cultivation. The features are visible as cropmarks on the latest Google Earth imagery. They were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
