Full Description
Probable shrunken settlement earthworks are visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s around West Fossil Farm, Owermoigne. The earthworks comprise two areas of building platforms located around the farm buildings, with field boundaries extending to the north and south from them. (1-2) The earthworks are not visible on the most recent aerial photographs available to the project. (3) These features were digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
