Summary

Possible ditched double bowl, has been much disturbed and now appears as two mounds 3ft. apart, each about 27ft. in diam. The whole is only 48ft. long N.-S., and up to 2ft. high. Ditch on the E. is about 9ft. wide, possibly common on both mounds.

Full Description

Ditched double bowl barrow on north slope of Ridgeway. Much disturbed, appearing as two mounds 3 ft apart. each about 27 ft in diam.west-east. Whole about 48 ft long north-south, and up to 2 ft high. Ditch on east about 9 ft wide, possible common to both mounds. Not visible from Ridgeway. <1> <3>

SY 64369706. This barrow has been almost ploughed flat, its site now being marked by a (single) stony mound 13.0m. In diameter and 0.2m. High. There is no visible ditch. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <4>
