Full Description
A Second World War military installation to the north of Tyneham House. The site comprises building structures, mast base and slit trench surrounded by protective barbed wire enclosures. The site is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1945-6 (1-3). Some of the building structures are still extant and visible on recent Google Earth imagery; they were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
