Full Description
Traces of parallel ridging, possibly medieval ridge and furrow cultivation, visible as low earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs to the north of Tyneham House (1). Faint traces are still visible as earthworks on the most recent Google Earth imagery. The features are likely to be part of the medieval field system described in MDO8057.
