The potential site of a Second World War bomb crater is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 on West Holme Heath (1). The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project, it is clearly visible as a circilar hollow on 1996 AP's (2) and recent Google Earth images.
