Full Description
Two small hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the south of Clay Pit Plantation east of Mount Pleasant, East Lulworth. They are considered likely to be post medieval clay pits. (1). The features are still partially visible as very low earthworks on recent Google Earth imagery; they were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
