An oval hollow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 to the south west of Kennel Farm (1). It is still extant and water-filled and is presumably an intentional pond or the site of an extractive pit. The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
