Monument record MDO3161 - Bowl barrow in the Ridge Hill group, Winterborne St Martin

Site of a Bronze Age bowl barrow. Field investigations record it as almost plough- levelled. Also visible as a cropmarked ring ditch on aerial photographs

Three bowl barrows. 'B' Under the plough and almost levelled. 10 paces in diameter, 3 ins high. <2>

Three bowl barrows, one now ploughed out. 'B' Very faint unsurveyable traces of this barrow which has been ploughed out; under the plough at present. 'Site of'. <3>

Three barrows: 'B' Bowl (SY 65058672) diameter about 30 ft. Ploughed flat. <4> <6>

A Bronze Age bowl barrow, one of a group of three bowl barrows (MDO360-62) and part of a larger barrow cemetery extending along the Dorset Ridgeway. Also visible as a cropmarked ring ditch on aerial photographs <11> measuring approximately 12 metres in diameter. This site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
