Full Description
A post medieval quarry associated with a lime kiln (MDO7613) is marked on the First Edition OS map, located on the northern side of Brenscombe Hill, Corfe Castle. A pit is visible as an earthwork at this location on aerial photographs (Dorset County Council 2002). This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
