Full Description
A group of parallel linear banks and channels are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of fields to the east of Vineyard Farm, Corfe Castle (1-2). They are considered likely to be the remains of medieval or later fish ponds or drainage ditches. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. Similar features are located just to the north-west (MDO7402) and may be contemporary.
