Full Description
A pit is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of West Hill, Corfe Castle (1). It is marked as a quarry on the Second Edition OS Map (2) and is considered likely to be post medieval or early modern in date. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
