Full Description
Two pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of West Hill, Corfe Castle (1). They are marked as quarries on the First and Second Edition OS Maps (2-3) and are considered likely to be post medieval in date. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
