Full Description
A pit is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of West Hill, Corfe Castle taken in 1945 (1). It is considered likely to be the remains of a post medieval or early modern chalk pit. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
