Full Description
Earthwork pits and baresoil marks of the remains of Norden Clay Mines are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of rough ground to the south of Norden Farm, Corfe Castle taken in 1946 (1). They are considered likely to be post medieval or early modern in date. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
