Two linear banks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of New Mills Heath, Corfe Castle. It is considered probable they are additional field boundaries associated with a late prehistoric or early medieval settlement and field system located just to the west (MDO7505).

Two linear banks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of New Mills Heath, Corfe Castle (1-2). It is considered probable they are additional field boundaries associated with a late prehistoric or early medieval settlement and field system located just to the west (MDO7505). These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
