Full Description
Several clusters of small circular pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of South Middlebere, Arne (1-2). They are considered likely to be the remains of Second World War military fox holes or shell holes. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
