Two post medieval to modern extractive pits are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the west of Chamberlayne's Farm, Bere Regis. The pits are located on an area of sand and gravel and measure between 14 m by 13 m and 16 m square. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
