An earthwork bank and large rectilinear mound is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the east of Cotness Wood (1-2). The features lie on the site of a brick works marked on the OS 1st edition map and may be associated with it. The site is no longer on the most recent Google Earth imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck NMP.
