Full Description
31244A series of parallel lynchets are visible as low earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs in the vicinity of Steeple village. The features may be medieval strip lynchets although a geological origin cannot be ruled out (1-3). They are still visible as cropmarks on the latest Google Earth imagery and were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck NMP.
