Full Description
A series of post medieval chalk pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs along Ridgeway Hill, Steeple (1-2). Many of the features are marked on the OS 1st edition map, they are still visible as earthworks on the latest Google Earth imagery and were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck NMP.
