A small round mound is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946, immediately to the east of the road at Thornham, East Creech(1). It is of uncertain date and function, possibly a later historic spoil heap. The feature is still visible as earthworks on recent Google Earth imagery. It was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck NMP.
