A post medieval extractive pit is visible as an earthwork on lidar imagery at Lee Wood, Affpuddle. The pit is located on an area of clay, silt, sand and gravel and measures approximately 10 m by 9 m. (1) This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
