Extensive earthworks associated with 19th and 20th century clay workings lie to the north west of East Creech Farm, Church Knowle. Pits and spoil heaps are visible as earthworks and extant structures on aerial photographs taken in 1945 and 6 (1-2). Many of the features are still visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck NMP.
