Full Description
An area of post medieval quarrying is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 on Bryants Puddle Heath, Affpuddle. The area of extraction is located on an area of clay, silt, sand and gravel, visible over an area measuring approximately 180 m by 75 m. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
