Full Description
A scattered group of three post medieval extractive pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery on Bryants Puddle Heath, Affpuddle. The pits are located on an area of clay, silt, sand and gravel. They are visible over an area measuring approximately 330 m by 225 m and measure between 60 m by 40 m and 120 m by 100 m. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
