Full Description
Two post medieval extractive pits are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery within Oakers Wood, Affpuddle. The pits are located on and area of clay, silt, sand and gravel. They measure 110 by 75 m and 30 m by 15 m. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
