Summary

A surface scatter of large flints and pottery including one piece of Samian ware was recorded during fieldwalking in 1970, and interpreted as a probable building of Roman date. The fieldwalking was part of a larger investigation of extensive cropmarks between Dorchester and Maiden Castle.
