Summary

Slight earthwork remains of an Iron Age or Romano British field system, visible on aerial photographs. The earthworks survive to a height of 0.3 metres. The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.

Full Description

(Centred SY 682872) Field system visible on air photographs. <1>

Low vague lynchet slopes up to 0.3m high are visible in a field under pasture. Although there is insufficient evidence on the ground to classify the lynchets, their form on air photographs suggests Iron Age type. <2>
