Full Description
A post medieval extraction pit is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 on Godlingston Heath, Studland. The pit is situated on silty clay and measures approximately 30 m by 25 m (RAF 1946). This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
