An area of post medieval extraction with an associated area of spoil, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 2005 and recent lidar imagery on Godlingston Heath, Studland. The quarrying area is situated on silty clay and visible over an area measuring approximately 115 m by 100 m. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
