Full Description
An area of post medieval extraction is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 and recent lidar imagery on Godlingston Heath, to the east of Kingwood Heath. The quarrying area is situated on silty clay and visible over an area measuring approximately 275 m by 230 m. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
