The possible site of to conjoined semi-circular ditched enclosures are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south of Smedmore Hill. The features are 16-18m across and may be of prehistoric or natural origin (possibly fungus rings?).

The possible site of to conjoined semi-circular ditched enclosures are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south of Smedmore Hill (1). The features are 16-18m across and may be of prehistoric or natural origin (possibly fungus rings?). The features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
