Full Description
A possible Second World War weapons pit is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1945 on Godlingston Hill, Swanage. The pit is sub-rectangular, measuring approximately 9 m by 7 m, and surrounded by a bank of spoil. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
