A Second World War bomb crater is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 on Godlingston Hill, Swanage. The crater is sub-circular, measuring approximately 8 m in diameter, and surrounded by a bank of spoil. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
