A linear banked feature is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945, running to the west of the road at Metherhills. It is possibly the remains of medieval or later field boundary. The site is still visible as cropmarks on the latest Google Earth imagery (2) and was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
