Full Description
Two post medieval extractive pits are visible as earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 on Godlingston Hill, Swanage. The pits are situated on chalk and measure approximately 13 m by 8 m and 22 m by 7 m. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
