A series of parallel linear features are visible as earthworks on aerial photogrpahs taken in 1945 at Metherhills, Kimmeridge (1). They are possibly the remains of medieval or later cultivation or may be of geological origin. The site is still visible on the latest Google Earth imagery and was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
