A post medieval to modern enclosure is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1945 to the west of Brickyard Lane, Swanage. The enclosure may have been agricultural in function and is now covered by a clay pit. It is sub-circular in form, measuring approximately 7 m in diameter, with a bank or wall immediately to the north of it. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
