Full Description
Two post medieval extractive pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1945 to the north of Coombe, Langton Matravers. The pits are situated on Limestone and measure approximately 12 m by 10 m and 7 m by 9 m. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
