Full Description

(Centred SY 675882) Barrow group noted by Skinner in 1829. 'B' SY 67528819. Possible disc barrow with central mound about 60 feet in diameter by 1 1/2 feet high, surrounded by ditch and external bank about 150 feet in diameter. <1>

All the barrows are visible on Crawford air photograph. <3>

'B' SY 67548819. Barrow, diameter 20.0m. Approximately height 0.3m. No visible ditch. All these barrows are in arable and have been ploughed-down to such an extent that their type cannot be determined. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <4>

Visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs <7>. The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
