Full Description
A pit is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of fields to the south of Upton Heath, Lynchett Minster (1). It is considered likely to be the remains of a post medieval or later extractive pit. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is not visible as on the most recent Google Earth imagery, this area having since been built over by modern development.
