Full Description
A circular hollow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1945 (1), located on the southern part of Upton Heath. It is considered likely to be the remains of a Second World War bomb crater. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is not visible as on the most recent Google Earth imagery.
