Four circular pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of Lytchett Minster taken in 1945 (1). They are considered likely to be a group of Second World War bomb craters. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. They are not visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery.
