A circular pit is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of Lytchett Minster taken in 1945 (1). It is considered likely to be the site of a Second World War bomb crater. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is not visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery.
