Full Description
Three oval mounds are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of The Moors, Arne taken in 1946 (1). They are considered likely to be the remains of post medieval spoil mounds associated with nearby brick kilns or salterns. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. They are not visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery, this area now obscured by scrub.
